The recipe looks good and looks a lot like the "Alpine" Mac n cheese we had this weekend at a fabulous little place in NYC called S'mac where all they serve is Mac n cheese. 12 different kinds!!! But don't tell Ettore, I still like the blue box every once in a while :)

That looks great and so easy! I'm going to have to try that one with the kids. I hate the powdered mac & cheese too. We have a fantastic cheese here that WSU makes called "cougar gold" that's just a white cheddar aged for a year but it has a really nice sweet aftertaste. If Ettore would like to try some I'll send you a can. Yeah, it comes in a can, but that's the beauty of it. They can store it in cans and the uniqueness of the type of culture they used to start the cheese doesn't give off a gas that would cause a can to expand. Developed originally for WWII. Anyhow, awesomely amazing stuff.
